People are born beautiful everyday. The real beauty in the world is in human struggle. A flower blooms time and time again, but a human has a choice to bloom or wilt. Once a human blooms, you will see beauty in suffering.

A car that is restored from the ground up holds more virtue than one just bought off ebay already done for you. The catapiller struggles to free itself not knowing if it will make it out or not… It has no idea if it will survive. Once it overcomes this it becomes free, never to be the same again floating in the warmth dazzling with colours. Free at last.

Take time everyday to look inside at yourself and realize the struggle you deal with is a beautiful journey to self discovery and strength.

I want to start this out by saying that the thoughts and opinions in this book are my own and have been influenced from many sources; books, media, movies, personal intuition, and much more make up this short piece of work.

In order to understand a little bit about where my point of view is coming from you must first understand some of the basic principles of western vs. eastern medicine and ways of healing.

In western medicine we treat the body in terms of something is broken and needs fixed. In eastern medicine we treat the body as a whole source of energy and parts of it being out of balance. If you give some general thought to the way both of those are described, of course, in the most basic of ways; What one makes the most sense?

Think about your emotions for instance. When you get angry or excited about something they are both extreme opposites of balance. When you feel centered and grounded you are just calm and content. You just are.

Western medicine tends to medicate a problem instead of really focusing on fixing that problem. They teach you to deal with a disease instead of correcting it. I’m a firm believer that almost every common problem the body has is caused by us and the effects we allow stress to have on our body. Your frame of mind is very key here. Most common things can be cured with the power of your mind. If you believe it, it will happen.

Now… using that frame of mind think about your life right now. Do you really think the reason you are here is to have a good job, make babies and buy things you want? Maybe those are just material medicine that medicates us from the true cure (reason we are here).

I would say there is a reason that more and more people are starting to question their faith and seperate from the herd to look for truth. I don’t doubt that there is some truth to some all religions… but I feel that we aren’t seeing it for what it really is. There is a deeper translation behind life.

I’ve given this a lot of thought recently and I thought I’d spill my ideas here on paper for all to see and think about.

I think it’s important to tell people how you feel instead of bottling up your emotions. If you do bottle them up you are taking that venom internally and it just eats away and causes bad stuff to happen.

The question I’ve been thinking about is: Is it better to be blunt even if it hurts another person? OR should you try to say it as nice as possible?

I personally appreciate someone being up front and straight with me even if it offends me or hurts my feelings. I’d rather have it clear and easy up front than sweet and cloudy.

I think it’s important that people are honest with each other and don’t hold back things just because they are scared of pissing off someone or whatever. If you hold those things in you aren’t really being true to yourself. There is a way to tell someone what’s on your mind without being confrontational, however sometimes people might need to be hurt in order to understand.
